ICELANDIC TREASURES

to heal the chakras:
       porous red lava rock

to raise the kundalini:
       dark iron ore, filled with golden pyrites

to make a set of runes:
       smooth gray-black oval stones
              gifts from the elves

to increase wisdom:
       a lapis in a silver setting
              like the rugged, molten earth we explored

to hold forever in my heart:
       the beautiful blue lace agate eyes
              of my beloved guide
                      who taught me to see myself the way
                             she sees me
