The new Recipe of the Week is up - Spicy Zucchini Boats. Let us know if you try it and like it!
We had a delightful St. Patrick's day dinner for 10:
Honora and her husband, Jay
Honora's daughter, Bridget along with 2 grandchildren
Honora's son Mike and his wife Amber
2 friends of the family
Me, Susan, as chef extraordinaire.
I made a traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner, with boiled onions, carrots and potatoes on the side. Yum!

In the Garden

Well, the seeds haven't arrived yet, and the weather won't play nice, so I haven't started any work outside yet!
I'm still nursing my 5 Rose of Sharon trees and 5 azaleas on the sun porch, along with a rosemary bush and a sage plant.

Updated Technology

Grayville is still in the dark ages, technologically speaking.
We have no high-speed internet, no real cell phone access, other than TracPhone, and limited cable service, without DVR.
So, Sunweavers Center has gone out to space!
Last week we got Dish network for the TV access, and tomorrow (Oh, joy!) we're having satellite internet installed.
As I sit here listening to the telephone try to access our ISP, then cut out, then redial,
I rejoice in the thought that by tomorrow afternoon we will have high-speed, always connected access.
I realize this will remove any excuses I may have for not updating the site, or getting a weekly update out to you.
I'll try!

Writing Projects

The re-write of our stand-alone thriller is coming along very nicely.
We clarified some points with an FBI agent today, and he has agreed to read the manuscript!
In addition, he's just been appointed to DC, and is willing to confer with us on the role of the FBI in the 3rd Ariel Quigley mystery.
We hope to have the thriller to our agent by the end of the month.
Honora has started culling her lecture notes for material for A Short History of Sex in Literature, Art and Symbol,
which should be out late June, 2007.
(This is to accompany our workshop in July at the Romance Writers of America Conference, July 10th-14th, in Dallas.)
We've started preparing our workshop on Magic, Metaphysics, and Things That Go Bump In Books
for Murder in the Grove, June 8th in Boise, ID.
We'll also be offering this workshop, in a 2½ hour pre-conference version at
The Great Manhattan Mystery Conclave in Manhattan, Kansas, on March 28th.

Other Preparations

The costumes for Book 2 of the Ariel Quigley Series - The Lawyer Who Died Trying - are ready!
They will be unveiled at Malice Domestic.
We're also working on our hats for Hat Contest at the Malice Domestic High Tea on Sunday.
Last year we
won both the most original and the most beautiful, so we have quite a task ahead of us to live up to our reputation!
We'll have pictures following the event.
