Edisto Island

Dockside seafood markets, where you may have to wait a few minutes
while the boat with the crabs docks.

Locally grown produce.

Moss-covered oak archways.

The Atlantic Ocean.

An unspoiled beach.

A river that winds through the marshes.

Dolphins, deer, and blue herons.

A history that includes Bluebeard, Lafayette, and magnificent antebellum plantations.

Little commercialization, no traffic lights, a top speed limit of 35.

All at the end of the road - Highway 174, that is.

A place to be laid back, relaxed, and creative.
